Search Engine Optimisation

Search Engine Optimisation or SEO as it is usually referred to is the process of writing a web page so that the major search engines, like Google, Yahoo and Bing list your website higher than your competitors.  There are a number of factors that influence how the search engines rank your site and it's the combination of all of these that get you a high ranking on the search engines.

We work with our clients to ensure that their website performs as intended, after all, what use is a beautiful informative website if no one can find it?

SEO involves analysing all the factors that make up the webpage, the title, the relevance of the text, the positioning of keywords.  When we perform SEO on a website we look at how the site is written and how the search engines will read it.  We monitor the performance of the site and make any changes required to improve the rankings.

SEO is not a one off process, it takes time, you have to be patient and it needs to be done continuously.  When we discuss SEO with our clients our goal is to get your site showing on the first page of Google (or your preferred search engine) for your chosen keywords.  We only charge for results so when your site is shown on page 2 of Google then we charge 50% of the fee and the rest is not chargeable until you are listed on page 1.

Once listed on the first page of Google we will need to carry out periodic analysis to ensure that you stay there or in fact keep going up until you are at the top, we can do this on either an ad hoc basis or on a monthly basis, whichever you prefer.
